Short for time....

Wednesday was a crazy busy day at work. I ended up staying at work an hour and a half late, and I had a very important meeting to be at by 7:30. My hair was a mess and I looked so tired. I did not have the time to freshen up AND put on a full face of makeup to try and look alive. Needless to say, I was sick when I came home from vacation, so I hadn't unpacked either. I decided to do what I had to do and just go light on the makeup.


When it was time to "look alive" I realized all of my eyeshadow brushes were still packed up. I used my Urban Decay Naked Palette (one of my favorites) and my index and pinky finger tips to apply my eye shadow. I used my index finger for my brow highlight (Naked) and all-over-lid color (Half Baked), and I used my pinky for my contour (Hustle). Then I applied Urban Decay Perversion eye liner (Blackest Black) to the inner rim of my upper and low lash line, following it up with Maybelline Stiletto mascara.  I applied a little bit of my Bare Minerals powder foundation and applied gloss.  I did this in under 5 minutes!! I even shocked myself.  If I had more time I would have taken pictures, but I had to get to my meeting.

I share this with you to let you know that just because you are short on time doesn't mean you have to look like it.  Simple goes a long way.  And if you don't have all of the latest and greatest tools, that's ok.  Sometimes you just have to use what you have (my case, my finger tips).
